HP Laser Printers have been the workhorses for mainstream American businesses for many years. They really specialize in laser printers for the business-class. Their units are solid, with good design features. Their tech support is usually pretty good as well.

They often have blazing fast speeds and many will offer duplex printing, eliminating the need to shuffle paper when you want two sided printing. Using a printer with a duplexing ability has been shown to decrease costs when printing because it cuts the cost of the paper. They may be monochrome or color and often they will come in a wireless capacity. Prices range from $100 on up.
Multi-Function HP Laser Printers
Also known as “All In One”, Multifunction HP Laser Printers range in price from $100 to $15,000. They come in color or black and white. They usually have print, scan, copy and fax capabilities, which are wonderful to have in a small office or home. The multi function laser printers take the place of several machines, and so can save you a lot of counter space. They may come with a high capacity paper tray, or even multiple paper trays and an auto-feeder is usually standard. They may have wireless abilities. Sometimes they can print on both sides of the paper (known as duplexing) and may also have a color LCD Screen and expandable memory.
HP Laser Printers – Options
You will need to know whether you want a laser printer that does color or if black and white is good enough. The monochrome HP laser printers are definitely going to be less expensive, both in initial price and in ongoing maintenance costs for toner and such. However, the new color HP laser printers are amazingly true to their colors and you can really add a lot of punch to a document with some well placed colors. They are awesome for printing out basic business correspondence and even your marketing materials, such as fliers and advertisements can be done on your color laser printer.
Another aspect to consider is whether you need a wireless HP laser printer or not. The wired in networking is pretty standard to most lasers, but you do need to check and make sure if you want to run it on a network. The wireless capabilities that some HP laser printers have is a really nice aspect because it allows your printer to sit sometimes in a place that would be difficult to reach if you had to plug it into your computer.
